Filming
When your good pals ask you to capture their wedding day, it’s a no-brainer. I was really happy to be part of Chris and Claire’s special day in the lovely town of Saltaire in Yorkshire.
Approach
I aimed to produce this film with a documentary-style perspective, offering a behind-the-scenes glimpse into their love story rather than a staged production. Armed with a lightweight A7Siii & ATOMOS monitor rig, I was able to blend into the celebration.
I wanted to capture candid moments, small details, and the subtle nuances that made the day uniquely theirs. The editing process followed suit, with a focus on creating a fluid narrative that allowed the genuine emotions of the day to shine through.
Project Outcome
Producing this film was a labour of love for me. It meant a lot that I was able to blend my passion for filmmaking with celebrating the love of friends.
